The Last Threshold

Cerberus(guard to the gates of hades)is best known as Hercules final Labor. Without Arrows or clubs Hercules had to bring Cerberus back to the surface of the earth. For this image I wanted to depict a gigantic 3 headed mechanical beast that looks almost impossible to beat without weapons. I decided to make the background cloudy and surronded in a cage of metal to give it a overwhelming feel. As a result the battle would be more than just fighting a mechanical dog, yet cooperating with the the distractions of your enviorment. 3ds max, mentalray,and photoshop were used in creating this image.
